(More customer reviews)This is easy enough for my just turned two year old. It is very similar to an adult Jello no bake process. Add water stir quickly transfer. teaches patience takes 10 min for cake to "rise", we set an egg timer, than we do dishes. Its great im teaching her to cook measure, follow directions, and patience and she has a blast learning these life lessons. down side is it taste weird but she loves the frosting. the frosting packets are good and she loves to lick the frosting off the cake. so really its not a total waste but I think for a toy it is expensive(constant refills) but if you can afford it worth it because has great lessons to teach and most kids will enjoy feeling of making something; but like with any toy its about how much fun you have with the kids playing with it.
