(More customer reviews)When the description says "small compartment", that's an exaggeration! the 'compartment' has a 2 1/2" zipper, too small for my 2 yr. old's hand. You may be able to put a dollar in it IF it is a folded bill. Mickey and Minnie are cute but the shoulder straps are very stiff and scratchy. It's fine if your child just wants to carry their stuffed toy on their back but if you're shopping for a USABLE backpack, forget this one and keep on shopping.
