Like the other reviewer said, it is small, but no smaller than real cell phones and answering machines are these days!All of the number buttons make the corresponding tones, there are messages from each of the four main princess, hold music and a dial tone. The sound is much clearer and louder than you would expect, too.Overall, this toy is exactly what you would expect it to be.
