My kids ages 5 and 2 love this toy.Mega bloks are the same size as lego duplo, but hey don't hold together quite as tightly.In my book this is a plus.My 2 year old isn't frustrated when prying the pieces apart.
There are 29 pieces in the set.4 of those pieces make Mickey and Minnie.My kids favorite piece is the "toodles".Overall a good toy, and worth the current price.
