(More customer reviews)I bought this based on previous reviews that made it sound like the mic was decent quality (for a preschooler). I didn't have that experience. My daughter's not a Camp Rock fan, so the two songs didn't matter; I really just wanted it for the microphone itself. We found that she had to put her mouth RIGHT up to the top for it to work at all (it doesn't pick up from any distance), and when she did get that close, it would squeal with feedback. Only a very discerning child would be able to get just the right distance to get sound but no feedback... certainly not my 2-year-old, who mostly ended up putting it IN her mouth while she tried to sing. It's cute, but we pretty much gave up on it.
