The material was quite clingy due to static when I opened it, but it also helped keep the table cover in place during the party. A beautiful graduation occurs between the dark purple/twilight blue. The center of the table cover is just dark purple all the decorations are along the edge so there is no worry about covering up some of the designs. It's meant to be disposable and I just threw ours away with all the crumbs and spills inside, but you could probably wipe it off and use it again, it seemed pretty durable.
