The real gimmick is that if you DON'T have a premium account ($5.95/month) you can use the toy code on the coin to unlock special items to dress up your penguin. That is great news for people that do not want a monthly charge for a premium membership. Only certain series can unlock certain pages of items in the online game so rare plushies are expensive and collectable. They only make a limited number of each character that is a part of each series. They sell out of stores and online quickly and they kids I know really love them.
