(More customer reviews)I bought this for my train loving 2 year old, even though I think they recommend for age 3+. He carries it around everywhere. The coal car is permanently attached (in fact, that's where the batteries are) with a somewhat flexible attachment. He carries the train around and the coal car just sort of dangles there! The plastic looks cheap, but it has held up well for nearly a month of very rough use. I like that it automatically shuts off if he picks it up while it's running. Oh, and my 5 year old daughter loves it, too.
