(More customer reviews)Turbo Chunk is the hardest to find of the 8 Hot Wheels Toy Story 3 character cars and therefore due to supply and demand the most expensive to obtain from online auctions and sellers.I'm guessing there's only one or two of these in a shipment box sent to stores with obviously the majority being for the more popular characters Wheelin' Woody, Rex Rider and Blastin Buzz. When you see the Turbo Chunk vehicle in the flesh (well metal) you can sort of understand why Mattel didn't have confidence to take the gamble of producing a lot of these things and hoping people would buy them.It's pretty much just a light orange semi truck without a trailer.

The only thing that links it at all to the toy character in the movie, besides the colour I guess, is the stalagmite type bumps on the roof of the cab.That's it nothing else.They could have at the very least put the stomach face thing from the character on the front grill of the truck. All that's there is a shiny reflective rectangle that's the same material they put in the windshield and side windows and what they made the engine out of. His arms with the distinctive hands could have extended backwards behind the cab maybe palms open where the rear wheel is.Really there's a lot of things that could have happened in the design faze.It's almost like they had decided and designed the other seven vehicles and then someone said, well you know we really should have eight vehicles and with no time left to design anything someone just grabbed a truck, said "Let's just paint it orange and put some triangles on the roof and pass it off as this character".

With nothing really identifying this vehicle as the character you've pretty much got to leave it in the packaging so people know what it is.The packaging isn't designed to be able to be opened without being destroyed, which is another negative for this item.Unless you absolutely have to collect every car in the series, I'd give this one a miss, especially if you can't get it for more than a few dollars.

(More customer reviews)Little Green Speedster is one of 8 Hot Wheels 1/64 sized die-cast vehicles that represent the toy characters from the Toy Story trilogy of movies.This one is supposed to represent the little aliens, I haven't seen the third movie but in the first movie we were introduced to these aliens who lived in a claw game machine in a space themed fastfood takeaway shop.Anyway the thing that lets this vehicle down is that they didn't stick with the green colouring for the paint job which would have made the car look a lot more like the aliens.On the back of the blister card you can see all 8 cars that you can collect.This like all other 8 vehicles in real life don't look like the pictures which were obviously prototypes.The prototype one is the same green as the alien whereas te car is a light blue.It's not like they didn't have any green paint in the Chinese manufacturing plant as Rex Rider (the one representing dinosaur toy) has a number of different shades of green on its paintjob.That one and Wheelin' Woody (Cowboy toy Tom Hanks character) are the best two of the eight vehicles.

This one does look all right, its headlights do resemble the three eyes of the alien and its curves do remind you of the alien's head but not using green is a big disappointment and when you look at the back of the packaging you're just thinking how much better this car could have been.

Japanese die-cast car company Tomica has released a idea similar set of cars to Hot Wheels.One of their Toy Story alien cars (they have a few designs) is very similar to this one but they have the colouring around the right way.They also have one that's all green and represents just the alien head which is also quite good.

(More customer reviews)Wheelin' Woody is quite a nice looking vehicle whose colour scheme, and hat attached to the roof immediately make you think of the main character from the Toy Story movie trilogy.Obviously this would appeal to fans of those movies but the detail is good enough that it also fits in nicely to any movie die-cast vehicle collector's collection.The same unfortunately can't be said for all 8 vehicles released in this series.It seems that most of the design time or budget went into this one and Rex Rider (the toy dinosaur one) as the others don't look much like the toy characters they are supposed to.

Interesting too that they seem to have skimped on the production costs from what was initially supposed to be released as when you look at the eight vehicles on the back of the blister card, they look very different, some even different colours to the actual vehicles you can buy.All have better wheels too on the back of the card, whereas the actual cars just have the cheap mass produced wheels you get with any Hot Wheels vehicle.The packaging is quite good although you can't get the car out without wrecking it.But if you are a leaver in packaging collector there is a nice little image of Woody from the movie in the bottom left hand corner and the Toy Story logo on the front too, although it does say Toy Story 3, they could have maybe left off the three so it could be a display for the whole series but that just me being a bit nitpicky.

A good movie die-cast vehicle, inside or out of the packaging.
